Why do some people seem to be very comfortable making decisions while others aren't?
The verb to decide comes from the Latin decidere which means to cut off
So making a decision means to cut off all other options and choose one
Rather than just stating or wishing for a preference
Choosing to go with the flow is fine but sometimes we will need to make a choice and decide what we are going to do or not do
We unfortunately aren't here to predict our own future so we have to make a judgement without knowing if we are right
Those that are comfortable making decisions are comfortable with not knowing the outcome beforehand, making the best decision they can at the time and then learning from it
A analogy for living perhaps?
