[Barbara's Daily Message] Believe in Yourself
Where do you get your sense of self worth from?
Some of you may answer:
I don't have one
Or from others opinions of me
Or maybe from your parents
Or even yourself!
It may be easy to listen to others but you end up riding the roller coaster of positive and negative feedback
It's also easy to be self critical but where is the help in that
Mentally telling yourself off all the time is just a hindrance that makes us miserable
What if you genuinely recognised and accepted what you had done well
And felt satisfied that you had done your best
If we do this we can genuinely appreciate and value what we have done and our contribution
This creates self belief and self worth
Start recognising your own actions and efforts for the wonderful value that they bring to this world.
